Trip to Archivers to meet Scrapshare Friends!

On Saturday my hubby drove me up to Archivers in Buford to meet with my Scrapshare Sisters! We had so much fun talking and shopping!! They all cropped as well! I on the other hand shopped and talked -lol!! By the time we left I was so tired I slept just about the whole 2 hours home!

I've also been stamping at home! Both with friends and by myself! Here are some of the things I've been making!

Did a little Stamping while recovering!!

My hubby felt sorry for me since I have been confined to the house for weeks so he drove me to Archivers in Atlanta to take a card class! Isn't he just the best??? I think so!!

I took the Ultimate Clear Card Class and it was so much fun! I was exhausted by the end and slept all the way home. These are the cards we made!

Where Do I Begin???

Let's see, it's been a while since I blogged! I had surgery on July 2nd. I had endometrial cancer stage 2. I had many masses and tumors removed and a complete hysterectomy! I have been recovering at home and have been away from my blog! Luckily, it was stage 2 so I will not have to have chemo or radiation therapy! I have been recovering nicely! It was very slow at first but this week has been much improved! I am now able to get around really good and even able to finally drive!! Now, I am the first one to tell you that I love being home but being home and unable to do anything is the pits!! While I have been recovering I have rec'd so many beautiful cards!! I want to Thank all of you for your cards, thoughts, prayers, phone calls, and emails. It has really lifted my spirits and aided in my recover!

Look What I Bought Myself!!

While I was in Atlanta Tuesday for my pre-op appointments I went to Archivers. I love that place!! I bought myself their exclusive penguin die from Quickutz!! Then I decided to order myself a Scor-Pal. I ordered from Paper Trey Inks and their shipping is fantastic and fast!!! I have already rec'd it!! Now I have some new toys to play with when I get home from the hospital!!

Here's another gift from another friend! Yes, I have some wonderful friends!! And they have great taste in gifts!!

Here's what I got from a friend of mine!! See the large mat in the background? Yep, that was part of the gift too!! How AWESOME is that???

Another Year Another Birthday

Well another year has past and I had a wonderful Birthday! My Birthday was June 14th! I had a wonderful day! My hubby and son took me to Olive Garden for lunch, I rec'd money and gift cards from my family and some wonderful gifts from friends! I also rec'd several cards from friends and family too! Then, in the evening my friend across the street had a party for her birthday and mine! Complete with Tiaras! I felt like such a Princess!!

Look at the wonderful things I got from my DSS for my Birthday!! She is so wonderful to me!! The box is a handmade paper box and filled with Dove Milk Chocolates, it is wrapped in SU Berry Bliss paper (that I love). The other smaller box is filled with images from stamp sets that I don't have so I can play with them. She also included several pieces of SU Designer papers so I can play with them too!! The card itself is a wonderful work of art!! Just totally made my day!! Thanks so much DSS!!!

Look what I rec'd in the mail! My DSS from Splitcoaststampers.com sent me some wonderful items! I feel so spoiled!

The first is a card she made me. I have not been feeling well so she made me a card to lift my spirits. The second picture is a purse album. She even included extra pieces to embellish and finish it once I got all my photos together.

Look what my hubby bought! It's an 02 Dodge Ram! Beautiful truck and looks like new!!

Happy Mother's Day Everyone!!! My DH and son surprised me with these beautiful Purple Roses Friday. I should have taken the picture then but they are still beautiful today too!!!
