Hi everyone!!! Yes, it's been way too long!! Just a quick update....Ronnie had a near fatal head on collision on Nov 18th so everything else in life came to a grinding halt....after surgery and many days of touch and go he was finally able to come home to heal. Fast forward to now...He has finally been given the OK to start PT...he still has a 2" gap in his femur but with the titanium rod that runs from hip to knee the leg is stabilized. He also ended up with a rod to connect the femur to the hip and pins around the knee. Many breaks have healed (he broke every rib with some broken in more than one place and broke the femur and hip in multiple places) but the areas where bone is missing will take much longer to heal. He is still on a walker as he is not able to put full weight on the right leg but he is happy to be able to be in the pool to start therapy. In the meantime, I tore cartilage in both knees...had surgery on the left one (cartilage and ligament) and once this one completely heals will have surgery on the other one (trying to wait as long as I can stand so one of us will be able to drive). Been real fun around here!! 
Sadly, crafting was put on the back burner for a while but I hope to be around a little more as he is getting a little more independent. I have been missing all of you!!
