It is official, I now have a business website...2 of them

Spring has sprung!!!????!!!

 Well, guess who got lost on the way to Spring??  The warm weather!!!  Yep, it is still a little chilly here in Georgia and other parts of the US are still getting snow????? Hmmmmm, interesting weather we have been having isn't it???  I think the cold weather must have frozen my blog a little but I have it thawed out now and and an update to report.   Have no worries, I haven't been resting on my rear while I haven't been able to get into my Blog, I have been continuing to use my stash and building numbers!!  April 10th is fast approaching but that's ok!  I will have it licked!!  I went to a retreat recently with my friends to Camp Skyline in Alabama.   This is a retreat I go to twice a year and we always have a blast!  This year I took my scrapbook kits and stamps and paper to continue to use my stash.   I am proud to say that I finished all the kits I had with me with totalled 40 scrapbook pages done (sorry, I didn't get pictures of these). Once I finished with those I started on the paper and stamps I brought with me.  I made a total of 67 cards at the retreat as well.  Yes, I am a happy girl!!!  I have made a huge dent into my stash, and am only a few cards from my goal.  I actually ran out of several colors of cardstock and will have to replenish that supply.

Whew what a week....

Where oh where oh where is my mojo???? Where oh where could it be??? I seem to have been away from the craft room for too long and can't seem to get my mojo back.  I have been working on using my stash and am still working on my 100 cards/projects in 100 days (good thing I made extras some days to keep ahead).  Friday was another story though...pulled out the paper I have been wanting to use, pulled out the inks and everything and just couldn't get the creativity flowing.  Probably would have helped if someone would have removed the spike that feels like it has been in my head off and on for a week now. 



This was my first attempt and yes, while the colors all matched they just weren't lined up right...only took me about two seconds of looking at it to figure that one out but sadly by then, the umph to do it was gone again so off to bed I went with the head still throbbing. 

Well, Saturday wasn't much better as far as the headache goes but at least I could think more clearly and came up with this version which I think looks much better. What do you think???  







Sunday found me back in the craft room working on another set of Thank You cards for a swap I am in.  Now today I feel the mojo was flowing a little better.  This flap fold card turned out really cute I think. It is hard to tell in the picture but the little jewel in the flower is really cute and sparkly in person.  



How's the headache you ask??? Well, it's back again full force so my guess is that we are going to have some more rain real soon.

Valentine's Day 2013

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!!!  
I hope you have all had a lovely day!!!

Many of you know that purple is actually my favorite color...I love flowers but I am the first to admit that while I love flowers I do not neccessarily like my hubby spending money on flowers for me from a florist. They are just too expensive and I can buy lots of other stuff like stamps for the $$$.  Well, I haven't been feeling very well (thanks to our lovely Georgia weather) so on Sunday I sent hubby to Walmart to get a few things.  Just the thought of getting out and going to Walmart alone was trying then you had the crowds and people running into you with their buggies, etc... You all know what Walmart is like on a Sunday....Anyway...he came home and surprised me with PURPLE ROSES!!!  I should have taken a picture on Sunday but I was so busy admiring and smelling them!!  They are so pretty and did I mention PURPLE???  I love that man!!  The flowers weren't for Valentine's Day they were because  "I saw them and knew you would like them because they were purple" he said.  Did I ever mention I was the luckiest woman in the world in my opinion? 


So what did I get for Valentine's Day you ask?  Today Joseph and Ronnie surprised me with a huge bottle of my favorite perfume for Valentine's Day!!  I love Estee Lauder's Pleasures Eau de Parfum.  Now I have a very large bottle to last me a very long time!!  I am such a lucky gal!!!
